With power demands rising and energy companies expanding, Duffy Crane and Hauling’s specialized transport is geared to move transformers weighing upwards of 500,000 lbs., massive boiler units, and the oversize turbines and blades for generating wind energy.

For these critical moves, we have high capacity lowboys with multiple jeeps and expandable trailers. For even heavier loads, a specially designed beam and dolly system with independent steering and suspension is utilized, often with a 200 ton hydraulic gantry system to “inch” the load into place. No load is too big, too heavy or too critical for Duffy Crane and Hauling to transport and set both safely and cost effectively.

Operated & Bare Rental Cranes

Cranes are essential tools for a lifting and transport company, and we have a fleet of hydraulic truck cranes, boom trucks, all terrain and rough terrain cranes available both as operated and maintained as well as bare rental units. In recent years, we have substantially increased the operated crane fleet while creating a new bare rental division which offers carry decks, truck mounts and rough terrain cranes up to a 70 ton capacity.

All operators have current NCCO certifications, and our expert staff with over 50 years of crane experience is available to evaluate your job needs while providing knowledgeable recommendations for accomplishing your lifts safely and cost effectively.

Equipped with modern rigging, our crews safely move anything essential to our customer’s operations, from lathes and presses to sensitive computer equipment and priceless works of art.

However, the core of our trucking business still consists of performing the routine trucking chores for our diverse customer base; from hauling forklifts and backhoes to transporting machine parts.

As one of the oldest public utility carriers in the Country (PUC# 333), Duffy Crane and Hauling serves its customers with equipment ranging from enclosed box trucks and flatbeds to 110 ton lowboys pulled by 500 horsepower tractors.

Indoor and Outdoor Storage

As a full service lifting and transportation Company, Duffy Crane and Hauling also offers secure short and long-term storage options. This includes 30,000 square feet of climate controlled indoor storage space and 100,000 square feet of secure (fenced and locked) outdoor space.
