Our Safety Commitment

At Duffy Crane & Hauling, we are accountable to the highest safety standards in the industry. We are committed to promote a positive and respectful safety culture through proper prevention training and safety protocols. Our organization promises to provide for, and put first, the health, safety, and well-being of all our team members.

Many of the significant safety improvements initiated by our management over the past decade that have been successfully integrated into the safety culture at Duffy, are still not in practice by our competitors. Some of these initiatives include a documented daily site specific safety meeting requiring the customer’s signature, as well as equipment-specific safety checklists for forklifts and crane hoisting/rigging. These documents set aside time for our crews to specifically identify and eliminate or mitigate jobsite hazards.

At an even higher level of focus, our Safety Committee routinely integrates with external loss control and risk mitigation experts, and receives feedback from field level on safety issues. All of these efforts, in addition to a rigorous pre-employment screening and physicals, are evident in our loss frequency and severity history, putting Duffy in the top tier for safety experience in our industry.
